VB-4774 High Heat Vacuum Metallizing Basecoat
Description
VB-4774 has been specifically formulated for use on Interior Automotive Lighting applications where low curing and high intensity in-service temperatures are required. Among it’s attributes, VB-4774 offers outstanding plate adhesion, exceptional depth of field, brilliance and above average thin film distortion characteristics.

VB-4774 adheres equally well to such substrates as Zenoy, Nylon, Polycarbonate, and GTX. Due to its high level of solids and outstanding flow characteristics, VB-4774 aids in the coverage of many substrate surface imperfections, making it ideal for use in a wide variety of applications.

Application
Method: Apply by Conventional or HVLP Spray.
Reduction
As supplied, this Metallizing Basecoat is offered at ready to spray viscosity. However, If necessary, reductions may be made with Acetone or Butyl Acetate solvents.
Cure Cycle
Flash off 15 minutes, followed by a 60 minute cure at a minimum of 250 degrees F., or higher, depending upon application and substrate type. For additional curing cycle recommendations, please contact Pearl Paints North America, Inc. directly.
Storage
Store in tightly sealed containers, at ambient temperatures. Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign materials. Process ability of this product can be adversely affected by evaporation and contamination. 
Shelf Life
12 months, provided materials are kept in sealed original containers under specified conditions. Storage beyond this period can produce higher viscosities.
