VB-4772 CD/V Metallizing Basecoat 
Description
VB-4772 Chrome Deposition and  Vacuum Metallizing (CD/V) Basecoat has been specifically formulated for use on Interior and exterior Automotive Lighting and chrome deposition application, where high intensity curing and in-service temperatures may be required.

Among it’s attributes, this VM deposition Basecoat offers outstanding plate adhesion, exceptional flow, very good levels of brilliance and above average distortion characteristics.

VB-4772 adheres equally well to such substrates as Zenoy, Nylon, Valox,  High Temperature Polycarbonate, Primed TPO and GTX. Due to its outstanding flow and exceptional depth of field, this product aids in the coverage of many substrate surface imperfections, making it ideal for use in a wide variety of applications.

Reduction
Do not reduce. Apply as is.
Application
Method: Apply by conventional and HVLP Spray.
Cure Cycle
Flash off 30 minutes, cure to a minimum part temperature of 265 degrees F., for a minimum of 120 minutes (or) Flash off 30 minutes, cure to a minimum part temperature of 310 degrees F., for 60 minutes.
Storage
Store in tightly sealed containers, at ambient temperatures. Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign materials. Process ability of this product can be adversely affected by evaporation and contamination. 
Shelf Life
12 months, provided materials are kept in sealed original containers under specified conditions. Storage beyond this period can produce higher viscosities.
