Description

VT-4860 is a fast Air
Dry, U.V. Resistant Clear Vacuum Metallizing
Topcoat. Among its attributes,
VT-4860 offers exceptional U.V.
Resistance, Water Soak, Salt Spray,
Humidity, QUV and Thermal Resistance. In
addition, VT-4860 provides outstanding
adhesion, and optical properties at thin
film
load levels.
VT-4860 is ideally
suited for interior and exterior surface
Automotive, Residential and Industrial
Lighting applications.

hours at 98% relative humidity at 38
degrees C.

Fadeometer/QUV:

No evidence of blistering

Cure Cycle
|
|
Air Dry (or) Flash off 15 minutes,
followed by a 40 - 60 minute cure at 180 degrees F.

Storage

Store in tightly sealed
containers, at ambient temperatures.
Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign
materials. Process ability of this product
can be adversely affected by evaporation
and contamination.

Shelf Life

12 months, provided
materials are kept in sealed original
containers under specified conditions.
Storage beyond this period can produce
higher viscosities.
