VT-4652 Vacuum Metallizing Topcoat
Description
VT-4652 is a fast curing general purpose Automotive grade Vacuum Metallizing Topcoat. Among its attributes, this coating offers flexibility for use in air dry and low to medium range short curing line applications.

VT-4652 exhibits excellent hardness, mar resistance as well as outstanding moisture, water soak and non-yellowing properties. In addition, this coating offers exceptionally good specularity and flow properties.

VT-4652 is suggested for use in all types of general Interior surface Automotive, Commercial and Residential  lighting applications.

Reduction
VT-4652 is supplied at ready to spray viscosity and should be applied as is, without reduction. However, where necessary, reduce as required, with VM&P Naptha solvent.
Application
Method: Apply by conventional and HVLP Spray.
Cure Test
Positive cure of this coating is achieved when all solvents have evaporated from the surface film (after 24 hours). This coating does not require surface cure testing by solvent rub method.
Cure Cycle
Flash off 2 minutes, followed by a 5 minute cure at 160 degrees F. This product will air dry to the touch in 15 minutes, and becomes completely dry in 24 hours.
Storage
Store in tightly sealed containers, at ambient temperatures. Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign materials. Process ability of this product can be adversely affected by evaporation and contamination. 
Shelf Life
12 months, provided materials are kept in sealed original containers under specified conditions. Storage beyond this period can produce higher viscosities.
