Description
RCB-7101 U.V. Cure Vacuum Metallizing Basecoat has been designed specifically for use in finishing Polypropylene Plastics. Among its attributes, this 100% solids Basecoat offers outstanding inner coat adhesion between the substrate and Vacuum Metallized layer, without the need for surface flame pretreatment or Polypropylene Primers. In addition, RCB-7101 offers outstanding flow, surface wetting, specularity and gloss, and presents excellent depth of field at thin film levels. RCB-7101 has been specifically designed for use in Automotive lighting applications, cosmetics and general purpose finishing, where ease of process ability and optimum surface coatings technology may be required. RCB-7101 offers a cost effective solution to traditional paint finishing methods.

Application
Method:	Apply by conventional and HVLP Spray.

Cure Cycle
Flash off 15 minutes at ambient temperatures (or) Flash off 5 minutes under IR lamps. Cure at a minimum of 2800 mj cm/sq.

Storage
Store in tightly sealed containers, at ambient temperatures. Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign materials. Process ability of this product can be adversely affected by evaporation and contamination.

Shelf Life
12 months, provided materials are kept in sealed original containers under specified conditions. Storage beyond this period can produce higher viscosities.
