Description
RCB-7048 U.V. Cure Chrome Deposition and Vacuum Metallizing Basecoat is ideally suited for VM coating of most metals, including Chrome. Among its attributes, this Vacuum Metallizing Basecoat provides superb adhesion to Metallized film and substrate, and offers outstanding thermal stability, flow, gloss and hardness. RCB-7048 has been specifically formulated for use on Interior and exterior Automotive Lighting and chrome deposition application where high intensity curing and in-service temperatures may be required. RCB-7048 adheres equally well to such substrates as Zenoy, Nylon, High Temperature Polycarbonate, Polyester, Primed TPO and GTX. Due to its outstanding flow and exceptional depth of field, RCB-7048 aids in the coverage of many substrate surface imperfections, making it ideal for use in a wide variety of applications.

Reduction
Do not reduce. Apply as is.

Application
Method:	Apply by conventional and HVLP Spray.

Cure Cycle
Flash off 15 minutes at ambient temperatures (or) Flash off 5 minutes under IR lamps. Cure at a minimum of 3400 mj cm/sq, or higher depending upon your application and substrate requirements.

Storage
Store in tightly sealed containers, at ambient temperatures. Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign materials. Process ability of this product can be adversely affected by evaporation and contamination.

Shelf Life
12 months, provided materials are kept in sealed original containers under specified conditions. Storage beyond this period can produce higher viscosities.
