Description
|
|
SP-971 is a Rule 66 Compliant High Reflect,
one coat Argent that has been designed to
replicate Vacuum
Metallized Surfaces. Formulated
for use in Automotive and general
purpose sealed beam directional lighting
applications, SP-971 offers superb
clarity, reflectivity, gloss and flow
and is intended for use on smooth
surface as well as multi-faceted lamp
housings.
SP-971 adheres equally
well to Acrylics, ABS, Polypropylene,
Polycarbonate, Glass and Aluminum. In
addition, due to its relatively high
level of solids, SP-971 aids in covering
of many minor surface imperfections,
making it a candidate of choice for most
low temperature lighting
applications.

requires mild stirring prior to use. Over
agitation of SP-971 Argent can cause
pigment breakdown and dull films.

Do not reduce. Apply as is.

Apply by HVLP and
Conventional Spray.

Cure Cycle
|
|
Air Dry or force dry. For
best reflectivity, air dry 15 minutes,
followed by a 30 minute cure at a
minimum of 140 degrees F.

Storage
|
|
Store in tightly sealed
containers, at ambient temperatures.
Protect from moisture, evaporation and foreign
materials. Process ability of this product
can be adversely affected by evaporation
and contamination.

Shelf Life
|
|
12 months, provided
materials are kept in sealed original
containers under specified conditions.
Storage beyond this period can produce
higher viscosities.
